Maurais passion for music naturally progressed into a lifelong affair when she instinctively decided to buy decks in 2005. Since then she has become a vinyl junkie, and has been on a constant hunt for records, always with an ear to the underground. Maura started playing at private house parties for notoriously long hours, but only after a few years she was given the opportunity to play several times for Clandestino at The End & AKA, sharing the decks with some of the industryis heavyweights. Gigs followed, playing at a range of venues across London: from the gritty clubs like The Key, Herbal, and Platinum to the more upscale bars like The Burlington, No. 5, and The Driver to name a few. Word spread about her dynamic sets so she even played for the uber-cool Kitchen Party, and events in her native Italy.

Over 2008 and 2009 Maura was co-promoter and resident of !KNUF with her partner in crime Jordi Mas their regular soiree in East London has grown from strength to strength, giving them the opportunity to play alongside well-respected DJs on the scene like Giles Smith, Miss Jools, Anthea, Johnny Rock and Luciano Esse. From 2009 Maura was asked to become resident of the WOO party, which has seen her play with up-and-coming talent like Giuseppe Cennamo and established artists like Noze, and will certainly continue to give her great exposure throughout London.

Her sound ranges from the warm sounds of deep house and Detroit house, to more driving and organic groove-based tracks with an element of funk.

Opens this debut release (and for the artist and for MFH too) incendiary track, entitled «Chaos beat». It’s really quite a «hot start»!
Piercing synthesizer riffs, a strong beats, all this shows is the best way all chaotic.

The second track called «Just feel it» The name speaks for itself.
The explosion, at the same time, energetic track. Intoduction of this track reminds us the sounds of trains, on the other hand – it is the voice passed through an uncountable number of effects! Bass Line sends us in the 90-th years, recalling the old techno-tracks. In the second half of this song we get in the abyss dungeons sounds. And landing was not very easy!
In general, why should I paint it all?
Listen and Just feel it!

The track «Retrospective» of Noun looks more relaxed on the other in this release. But it is not.
Heavy waves of sampling tools, clicks, noise, vinyl records, ringing in ears, bells – all this is very interesting to combine and merge together in this track. The bass line at some point become familiar, not-so-right? Interesting failures breathtaking, the constant repetition of electrically melodies, samples … All of this was. Once upon a time. Noun reminded us of this… A very unusual track in two parts.
