On a crappy national day afternoon, I took my lovely records, opened a bier and made this mix. Back to the roots. Dark, trippy, hypnotic and industrial at the end. A little touch of true electro sometimes. Precisely what I love during the night. Some little mistakes, but I prefer stay on vinyl and making mistakes... Fortunately this is pretty light ;)

We are pleased to announce the launch of @basic_sounds net label. Our primary philosophy is to expose the world to the music we love by promoting new emerging electronic artists experimenting within the realms of techno, house, ambient and dub. We hope to feature a new artist every month and are accepting demos.
Bartek Kawula is a Toronto based producer who has been composing electronic music since 2003. Influenced by both the electroacoustic field and the more improvisational genres of rock he feels at home within the compositional boundaries and sonic possibilities of Techno. His grooving experimental minimal techno combined with rich pulses and low end rumbles delicately build into beautiful trance inducing compositions. Bartek performed at Mutek and has been featured on various compilations.
After a three year absence, Gorowski releases his fourth album “Sowilo” on WM Recordings. This time it’s a double-helping! Also featuring Swiss artist Crepesuzette. More free music for the discerning ear from the Dutch label.

This is our second (and very long awaited) release of Noun on the Music For Headphones net-label entitled "Spontaneous Music Behaviour"!
And it opens up a powerful and aggressive track of the same name. This track shows the real Spontaneous behavior of music ;) Powerful drum loops, synth samples permeates their hard sound, and the main phrase with elements of glitch only underscores the mood of this release.
The next track, entitled "Exellent" though more monotonous, but nevertheless touch to the soul =) Glitch, sound cuts, vocal samples, simple melody, drums, distortion - all mixed together in this composition. Melancholic idea was completed at 100%. Indeed, Exellent.
The third track on this release is called "Monotonic suite". What a "dividing line" in this supposed "net-vinyl". A smooth transition from powerful beats, guitar distortion, stand out synth lines to lighter but no less atmospheric tracks. Punch start with the samples of the Russian group "5'nizza" + oppressive stream synthesizer, Cut off, the total tune in two notes, clearly marked simplicity in all - this is the main components of this track.
Figaro! This name does you nothing said? All right. This work was written in 1816 Gioachino Antonio Rossini for his play "The Barber of Seville". Legendary work, I'll tell you ...
In this release a very brave try of Noun to breathe into a product new colors, strength and vigor. Active use of stereo effects, panning, vocal phrases from the original play, violin + gate-effect and simple synth melody. Here it is, the new Figaro 2010!
The fifth and final work on this release is called "Old dirty town". This track is like other of this release is no different positive and joyful attitude. All that the same melancholic, and even mild depression envelops and cover this track. It is fully mixed light echoes of hip-hop phonograms, deep bass, simply whistling tune and claps. Small elements of percussion makes it clear that there is also a subtle influence of minimal techno (but, however it is minimal). Depressive, sad though and easily.

The Hard Wax and Ostgut Ton man lays down an energetic, hour-long mix for this week's RA podcast.
As far as contemporary Berlin-based house and techno producers go, you don't get much better than René Pawlowitz. When he's not spending his time behind the counter at the city's legendary Hard Wax record store, he's busy conjuring up all manner of material in his studio, taking inspiration from classic Detroit and Berlin techno while infusing elements of hardcore, breakbeat, dubstep and ambient along the way. Although the majority of his output is released under the Shed banner, Pawlowitz has diversified his sound with a number of different pseudonyms. His white label offerings as Wax and EQD have become essential selections for fans of rugged Teutonic techno, while he's also turned his hand to 140bpm bass music with his work as The Panamax Project.
Although René has garnered a reputation for his prolific and consistent approach club-oriented 12-inch singles, he's also proved his mettle when it comes to creating larger bodies of work. His debut album came in at the #1 spot in our top albums of 2008, with RA's Will Lynch championing its "lustrous aesthetic, oblique rhythms and coherent diversity," so seeing as his sophomore full-length—entitled The Traveller—is due to hit the shops later this month, so we thought that it'd be the ideal time to let Pawlowitz demonstrate his idiosyncratic vision of how techno should be.

However, in Gogol's novel a young man finds a fabulous fern flower, that brings him nothing but a curse. Floral wreaths in water, reading the future, jump over fire - the old tradition of midsummers Ivan-Kupala-Day, with herbs, night swimming, talking plants, water magic - which fantastic ritual.
And we bring you the musical soundtrack for such a midsummer night's dream. With tracks by different local activists and some old and new friends from russia. From Rostov-on-Don we can welcome and introduce Evgeny Light, from Moscow young Phil Gerus with a slightly preview on upcoming Phonocake release and with them our old buddies from Modul, with a track from their album "Over The Dew", released on Biotronic.
The local part brings the tracks from the ETUI-label dudes Sören Matschiste and Insect O, check their latest compilation "TOMBOLA DER FREISINNIGEN 2".
