"3 years ago I made an album titled "One Last Look at the Sea"... As many of you know, it was supposed to be released on Somnia, but the label closed. Then it was supposed to come out on 2 other labels, one of which also closed, and the other of which went on an indefinite hiatus."
"So what I have decided to do is to offer my humble thanks to all who have supported not only Quietus in the past, but my music in general both past and present."

Those tracks were first released through 2008 to 2009 on Minimal and Melodies Music label. Since its creation back in 2008 and to my knowledge, this label has never been able to pay its artists while keeping all the incomes for itself.
Last year, a dozen of those artists, including myself, decided to ask MMM’s distributor (Believe Digital) to pull out all our material from every webshop they are working with (including Beatport, Juno Download, Etc.).

Forever Unknown. Original version of collaborative work by Twin Solo & Unit 21. Comfortably crackling with oscillator and beating with old drum machine this composition can accompany well holiday preparations. It was made for those quiet winter days, when it's snowing a little and already glooming, but evening promises warm of family hearth.
01.11. The mood of this pushing techno track can be felt first of all by those, who going to spend New Year's Eve on a safari in Africa. Or in the past, hunting after dinosaurs. At first we'll make a proper ambush, hide, and... Here it is! But what is it? It's not a tyrannosaurus at all, but the best improvised keyboard performance by Stanislav Vdovin, who was haunted by the spirit of Bud Powell on Xmas. A must have.

Zachary Gray's latest ' Montréal I/II' is dear to our hearts. We're fascinated by this album and by Gray's rapid understanding of our city. Living in Montreal only since July 2010, the album is ' the product of a tryst between dissolution and frustration ', he says on his website. Much like the city it takes its name after, Montréal I/II is an eclectic mixture of influences; often polarized between the warm & festive tones of summer to the deeper and more solitary moments of winter.

Harry Klein Booking artists Violett from Buenos Aires & Cesare vs Disorder from Berlin both scanned their treasures, compiled classics and obscurities, sad and sweet sounds for two Valentine’s Day Mixes. Cesare’s for the girls and Violett’s for the boys. Or vice versa. As long it’s someone you love.
Mathias Woot was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1988. Early on influenced by 70´s Psychedelic Rock and 80´s Post Punk, when he started his DJ career at the age of 18 he also fell under the influence of Detroit Techno and western european 70´s Minimalist stream. Due to his interest in these genres and his desire to grow as an artist he was led to meet and find comradery with various well-known DJs of the techno scene in Argentina such as Jonas Kopp, Franco Cinelli, Bodeler, and Udolph.
From dub, techno, and house, we can find in his sets a sense of various genre comprehension and appreciation, making for a distinct audible experience.
Currently he is developing his label "Krill" with Espen Lauritzen, and also several projects with other artists. He is also in charge of programming and production of an online Livecast show at Cocoliche Radio, which has been very helpful to up and coming DJs in the techno scene in Argentina.

The New York techno veteran enters the wormhole.
Adam X is pleased with himself, and rightly so. While every man and his dog were extolling the virtues of minimal during the last decade, the US veteran producer was sitting quietly on the sidelines with only his tastes for company. That may sound overly dramatic, but let's just say that Adam Mitchell stood firmly by the harder techno and industrial he was pushing during the '90s and is now reaping the rewards. That said, it did take an adroit name change to properly reconnect with the scene. Traversable Wormhole was established to put an anonymous front on his music: Mitchell felt that DJs and music buyers harboured preconceptions over his '00s "industrial/EBM" output. The TW limited pressings flew instantly off shelves. Mitchell remained tight-lipped, however, releasing five parts of the series in the second half of 2009 before casually unveiling himself in an interview with us at the start of 2010. Chris Liebing's CLR imprint picked up the releases for a five-part remix project—Surgeon, Marcel Dettmann and Funtion were among the talent—before compiling the originals to CD.
Mitchell started out in Brooklyn during the early '90s, running the Sonic Groove record store before founding a label of the same name back in 1995—his years of experience are brought to bear on this assured encapsulation of his range: from murky ambient textures to hostile industrial, right through to straight-up techno bangers.
