Etapp Kyle, the Soviet’s son, was actually born in Germany where he spent seven years of his childhood. After coming back to Ukraine, he started his music education, played several instruments and studied vocals. As it often happened those days, he could end as a member of some provincial choir, but he chose his personal growth. Upon his first visit to a nightclub in 2003 the academic principles washed off his mind; he dreamt of electronic music since that moment. Through house music in the beginning, and passing by progressive tunes, he found a trail to Speedy J, Plastikman, Chris Liebing and Luke Slater - the very music which outlined his taste; the OstGut crew shaped his sound preferences, and a prototype of today’s Etapp Kyle entered the clubbing scene.
Years passed since Etapp Kyle first appeared in DJ booth. Formats changed and gadgetry evolved, but strong connection to techno music remained. Etapp Kyle‘s style today is techno of high breeding not depending on its origin (Japan, Germany, the USA and the UK) or gender (Marcel Dettmann or Cio D’or) but of defined format: a subtle melody on top of industrial mood. Etapp Kyle breathes life into the dancefloor, he’s a unique son of the Ukrainian club culture.

В детстве, Etapp Kyle был лишен великого коммунистического настоящего. Дело в том, что до семи лет для него была лишь одна страна - Германия. По возвращению в Украину юношу отдали на поруки музыке. Он усердно учил музыкальную грамоту, играл на множестве инструментов и даже пел. Такие вещи или ломают, превращая человека в ячейку какого-нибудь провинциального хора, или же учат музыкальной гармонии и создании звуков из ничего. Etapp Kyle пошел по второму пути и не ошибся.
После посещения первого ночного клуба в 2003 году, сознание образцового музыканта разлетелось на тысячи фрагментов. Отныне он грезил электронной музыкой и дал себе слово, во что бы то ни стало реализовать себя в этой культуре. Сначала он попробовал на вкус хаус, затем раскусил крепкий орешек прогрессива, чтоб в конце упереться в Великую стену мировой техно-культуры. Speedy J, Plastikman, Chris Liebing и Luke Slater стали для Etapp Kyle спасительной дозой той самой Музыки, которой остаешься верен до самого конца. Тусовка OstGut лишь помогла окончательно сформироваться музыкальному вкусу артиста, и вот, прототип Etapp Kyle был запущен в клубное пространство.
Более пяти лет прошло с тех пор, как он впервые поднялся над диджей плейсом и посмотрел сверху-вниз на танцпольный шабаш. С тех пор менялись форматы и девайсы, но всегда во главе всего стояла Музыка. Стиль Etapp Kyle можно описать как породистое техно независимое от страны происхождения (Япония, Германия, США или Англия), независимое от пола (Marcel Dettmann или Cio D'or), но зависимое от формата: когда тонкая мелодия нанизана на индустриальное настроение. Etapp Kyle вдыхает жизнь в танцполы страны. Его по праву можно назвать уникальным сыном украинской клубной культуры. Во имя музыки, и не иначе.

"We’ve always found a sort of comfort in confiding in electronic assassins and the silent requiems that are a result of their pursuits, perhaps none more so than our broadcast host this week. The birth of his path dates back to the vibrant cultural paroxysm that was Detroit in the mid to late 80′s which choreographed a timeless blueprint thats true soul is easily recognisable in any performance or release that’s made its way from his world.

Now even though he’s confessed that much of that segment in his life has been pseudo-erased, unintentionally or otherwise, it delivered the infrastructure that supported the exposure for ‘The Autonomous Music Project’, sub explorations with Echospace/CV313 and one of the standout records of 2011 ‘Hash-Bar Loops’ on Soma – that’s all without even grasping the  alias’ and back catalogues that encompass various tangents.

In this series local artists from Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia, Moldova & from other post USSR countries will present their vision on contemporary techno music.
We support artists that with unique music taste.
Our first strike was recorded by Six Fingers - ukrainian native artist. He's not from major league of superstar Dj's, he's experienced music listener who can transform beast into beauty. Music means everything for him.

1. Что такое музыка?
Для каждого музыка несёт определённый смысл,для одного -это жизнь,а для другого - просто способ расслабится!Для меня музыка является двигателем эмоций,действий,она помогает преодолеть барьеры на пути к цели,увидеть вещи,которые без неё не замечаешь,что-то осознать и конечно же с ее помощью выразить чувства!
2. Что ты хотел сказать миксом?
Миксом ничего наверное не хотел сказать.Подбор музыки и создание самого микса - передают мои чувста того периода и хотелось бы чтобы при прослушивании людей наполняли те прекрасные эмоции и вдохновение.
3. Почему важно слушать твою работу?
Как по мне,это не тот случай когда это важно сделать,пусть каждый сам решает что он от этого получает^)
4. Музыку каких артистов посоветуешь послушать начинающим меломанам?
Желательно чтобы это были молодые артисты,которые создают что-то новое,не заганяют себя в рамки и делают это с душой и качественно)Конечно же можно найти отличные работы от Dario Zenker, Sandwell District, Donato Dozzy,Answer Code Request, 2562, Marcelus, Reeko, Regis, Terrence Dixon, Skudge и многих других.

Человек сам строит свою жизнь,свое будущее и границы его бесконечны :)

many people are showing their care towards Tom "vSquared" Spiteri right about now, a young dj / producer based in cardiff, uk. from a completely non-musical background, Tom has been working over the summer months perfecting his album with the intention of releasing it for free; "it's not for the money, it's for the people who love music, to simply enjoy my creation."

drawing inspirations from his life so far, various other music genres and fellow artists, Tom has managed to create a magnificent concept album designed to best be heard as a continuous running listening experience, that constantly shifts seamlessly through moods and styles.

"Who Really Cares?" is truly the sum of its parts, one consistent progression comprising of 13 bass music tracks including remixes of Alicia Keys, Amerie and Fetch. running for just over an hour, the album, in the words of Tom himself, "should be listened to in its entirety, with the full attention of an open mind."

With this release on Blikmuzik - "Blogas", Sraunus presents yet another side of his music, mixing fast minimalistic drum patterns with emotional synth parts.

Blogas comes in an edition of 50 copies black CDr, with each copie having a unique photograph by the artist himself.

Once again, Gimme5 takes you further than humanly tolerated, squeezing through your ears the magnificent unknown still sleeping in your brain. With this 'beat tape' release from Nocow, the listener is yet one step deeper, not only into the music, but into the process itself that brings life to it. These short songs are a glimpse into Nocow's vision of the world, a brief sigh through the immensity of the 'possibles', snatched from some underlying world and compiled inside this tape which, by the way, is free. Yes, you heard well. This is so totally free that you have no excuse not to get it and prepare yourself for Nocow's debut LP soon to come.

Each track is like a pearl, born in the shell of an ugly oyster but shining bright, beautiful in its special own way. In fact, this beat tape pleads the beauty to be found in even the ugliest thing, the ruined and desolated elements that compose the realm of reality. Just take a look at the artwork cover to get a visual clue of what we mean. The rust is feared and scorned, but if you look close enough, it will start revealing to the spectator its delicate ornaments that make it beautiful. The eye needs to listen for the ear to see clearly, and this beat tape is the perfect argument to prove it. Did we mention it's free ? Yeah. We're like that at Gimme5. We give the beauty for the mere sake of spreading it. Round in circles, we dispel the wind overnight, up on a roof, and we allow a thorny path to be our long way home, though in doubt, the moonlight flit over the gill. If you don't understand this last sentence, then you should probably rewind the tape and play it again - that is, if you bought the tape version, which you most definitely will, just cos a tape is the hypest item in this digital world.
