Zeno's album "Cosmic" comes as a pleasant surprise to the CL catalog, this time bringing UK's most famous basslines straight out of the dubstep genre, directly from the transantlantic city of Denver (USA). After a year of almost releases, Zeno finally presents us with this delightful record and the wait was worthwhile.
Zeno doesn't follow the traditional genre rules, instead he brings a more complex feeling to it, drawing influences from a variety of places that quickly evolve in different directions, mixing itself with the most improbable genres. With classic acid techno synth lines, moody ambients and everything he can find, Zeno explores uncharted territores with "Cosmic".
MC Zulu gives his vocals to the DJ Machine song and surprises doesn't just end here: Jack-of-All-Trades Huron, gives us two lovely remixes to complete this bass driven trip, with a more classical approach, faithful to the roots of dubstep and another stimulating remix from veteran Widdler complements the album with a re-interpretation from Clish. Upcoming release comes all the way from the other side of the atlantic, courtesy of US's Iameb57.

An interesting approach was reached on his Filic9 EP that is somewhat being forgotten lately by the most contemporary IDM genres: a sense of melody and emotion being drawn onto detailed glitchy beats.

These elements never loose focus throghout the EP, giving some room for experimentation and intricate song structure, from time to time revealing a darker side that's somewhat latent on certain songs and create a nice tension between beauty and creepiness.

Going back to the roots of a genre is always difficult, for the approach must be very well thought and also respecting the evolution of the genre in question. Well, both IDM freaks and revivalists, rejoyce! There's enough here to please your senses and intrigue your geek side on how Iameb57 accomplished his detailed morphing programming.

Glitch and Melancholy

Pleq is Bartosz Dziadosz and he definitely is one of the recently established hightech muscicians from Poland. He
should be known through his releases on 77industries.com [Poland] and his latest release on Envizagae Records [Germany].

The fresh published album on Crazy Language seems to be a resumé and provides and insight into his ingenious music. With sensitive chosen backround sounds and with hypnotical effective beats offers Pleq an entrance to his world which seems to lie somewhere between science fiction and the melancholy of every day life. This album amazingly supports an escape, even if it is just for an hour.
Highly recommended.

Ambient music is dominated by long and spherical soundscapes. This kind of music seems not to require a lot of attention,  but if you listen to ambient music in the right mood and in the right place you can feel how it catches your subconscious mind and how time and space merge.

XZICD's music has merged time and space. He has a very sensible feeling for using filters which are controled in real time. Especially, the tracks „The Crest“ and „Ephemera“ show his detailed love for modified sounds. Wide textures from outer space are balanced well with forthcoming erosion-like sounds. This offers a great dialog and it keeps you listening advertent. XZICD has to offer more. The track „The Sun On your Lips“ is the proof. Starting with bloomy sounding pads the track develope a thought-provoking atmosphere underlined by heavy beats before the track roll up itself and gives a reminder of the beginning.

Good music irrespectively from genre, time and space diserves always attention and I would like to recommend XZICD's tracks here because the EP has some more surprises. If humans settlement in universe come along with such music I will be there. [DNN]

It's Christmas! Capitalist's favourite season! And as usual, Crazy-Language delivers what best the World Wide Web has to offer in terms of grade-A Electronic music.
A nice recap of what was released throughout 2009, and perhaps a little taste of what'­s to come in CL, cycles through 24 songs and countless BPMs. You're visited by old collaborators, showing off their evolution and newcomers alike, proving that electronic music is spawning everywhere, with fresh ideas out of the box. Complex, sometimes crazy, others chilled, nostalgic and peaceful. Doesn't matter. It's all unpretentious first-class music.
Best of all, it's nice to have this really for free without asking anything in return, in this hypocrite season of the year. All frickin' hail the non-capitalist artists behind this!

By now, you have probably heard of Randomform, from one of his many releases under different pseudonyms. The super-prolific musician, doesn't just impress you in quantaty, but in quality as well. Tying in with CL's previous release, "Redapt" is a moodier piece of work, that reminds us of the good old IDM days, where the complex and mechanical beats were constantly fighting with beautiful melodies. This is the next step forward: the increasingly complex and contracted programmed beats, are fighting this time with drones from outer-space, with a modern approach and classic Randomform's signature that shouldn't disappoint you. PJE's Thought Process comes to CL as a drastic sound change from the previous releases. Almost it's polar opposite. A release that smells like Autumn and winks at Winter. Just think of a cold sunny day, spent in the beach and let the music flow. Smoothing synths accompanied by acustic instrumentation are scattered throughout the album and with the carefully placed textures, you found the heart and soul of Thought Process. It's simplicity is incredibly striking, proving that even from the most basic ideas, you can pull out surprises and sonic variation. [F.G.]
