We’re happy to keep things moving over here on the net scene and even more radiant to drop some lush and opulent techno for those who identify with the cavernous side of dance music. Here’s where Lèon fits in with stir032.
Stizostedion Lucioperca is the opener and delivers an appealing arrangement along with soft spoken pad textures and breathy talking. Penaeus Vannamei digs even deeper with ultra bass width and glassy synth movement giving a surreal and uncanny warmth rarely felt in techno these days. With that, we get to the exquistie prospects of Acipenser Sturio, which would have no doubt been licensed for Blade Runner had it been filmed during the 90’s Chicago House boom. Decoratively placed sax, thermal hi hats and a few indescribable twists along the way make for an off world 7.5 minutes of home listening or dance floor undercurrent to round out an EP that draws futuristic and aeronatic imagery. Last but not least is a remix by Measax of Acipenser Sturio that get’s a little funkier on the horn tip and bit housier with the drums.
