They are just guilty of being the head of the label most buzz of 2009. And if music must often be wary of the buzz like the plague, in this case, it would tend to validate uninhibited. Yes Wolf & Lamb has certainly left the best records of Annez (Random Nicolas Jaar, Lee Curtiss, remixes of Deniz Kurtel, the tube of our cousin, Wolf).
And then Wolf & Lamb is also a label symptomatic of the time.Without going for the nth time in the debate on vinyl and digital, it's interesting to see a winning mark in size and prominence as the basis for a purely digital label and developing a hybrid today.
Enough said label, let's talk about the 2 brains: Gadi Mizrahi & Zev aka Wolf + Lamb. It would be unfair to confine the role of label manager, so that their prod are at least as powerful as the artists mentioned above (I'll set your house of Gadi is my top 10 in 2009 since the month of May). When everyone rushes head fell in the German tech house redneck, they seek the challenge of a novel mix between deep, disco and funk. Rather well seen.
