Stephen Quirke has held residencies in Ireland, Scotland and America. He has run clubs and played with people like Booka Shade, M.A.N.D.Y, Gilles Peterson and Freeform Five.
His first regular gigs were 12 hours long, every weekend in Cork, Ireland. That party was called Afternoon Tea and ran from 1pm to 1am each Sunday.
He's come a long way since then, he worked his way through University DJing for agencies in the United Kingdom all the while holding down a residency at one of the biggest clubs in Ireland while still living in Scotland.
He now lives in America, where he's just got married and become a father. Before moving his show to Proton Radio, he had a weekly slot on The Portland Radio Authority with guests that included Oliver Huntemann, Stefan Goldmann, Joakim, Ewan Pearson, Phonique, Justus Koehncke, Chymera, Corrugated Tunnel, Miss Jools, Remtue, and Italoboyz... (to name a few) so look out for more big names guests on the ECLECTRO show!
