On nomucho's 12th release we are proud to present the label's first full length album by the hand of the talented Notone, a long time friend of the family and a hidden dj talent of the Chilean underground. The album is a perfect web woven by a precise sound mixture between deep rooted afroamerican music with old latin-european brush strokes in perfect conjunction with the sounds of Detroit inspired modern dance music. A balanced musical journey full of delight and more than worthy of being our first full length album.

All tracks were produced and recorded by Notone at Vallecan Underground Studios in Madrid between January and June of 2009.

“The tracks in this album were never intended to be heard by anyone either than friends and even less to be published. It was music made to fill my silence with sound and for remembering something far away: now I feel it is full of imperfection.. but life itself is like that… and there’s always something far away” .- Notone

(nomucho 010) Sonora Buenavista - Sonora Con Mucho 2009

Sonora Buenavista - Sonora Con Mucho
Label: Nomucho
Cat #: nomucho #010
Format: File, MP3, 320
Genre: Electronic
Style: Minimal, House

Sonora Buenavista is a jam-session based project composed by Michael Ason, Gabriel Berthin, Miguel Colmenares, and Harold Fandino. The tracks presented on this EP were all forged during long-night sessions in a Miami Beach studio towards the end of 2007. After recording several parts from different hardware machines, the tracks were edited to form a cohesive selection of reduced micro-grooves with an accentuated latin feel to emphasize the heritage of all four members. Felipe Venegas spices things up with a twisted remix that owes as much to John Cage as it does to the Fania record label: while Fantasna lives up to his name and provides a raw, detroit influenced cut for forward thinking dancefloors.

Tracklisting:
01. Boucle de Base
02. Burundanga
03. Marabundo
04. Boucle de base (felipe venegas k-hole remix)
05. Burundanga (fantasna sweden mix pp)
