Alas! The Dark Side Of The Meat cometh to light. Begone, beat quantisation and synthesizer presetism, for thou shallst not be of concern. Erdbeerschnitzel, hence the name, seeked for an alter ego to express his murky, yet raging side. Thou shallst use thyne ears with care for what is to come may be unexpected, yet disturbing to thee. As it arose from the social wastelands of Mainz Neustadt, the Meat must not be classified. It shall be of its own flesh.

(SMV 011) Elco Park - Square Colonial Decoding

Elco Park - Square Colonial Decoding
Label: spontanMusik
Catalog#: SMV011
Format: 4 x File, MP3, 320 kbps
Country: Germany
Released: 18 Aug 2009
Genre: Electronic
Style: Tech House, Minimal
Notes: Culled from what was intended to be the 6th release on Friends Of Tomorrow in 2006.

spontanMusik presents a new Elco Park e.p. - the long awaited follow up to their first record on Force Inc. After lazing around for some years, the 4 tracker is based on 4/4 beat underpinning series of skeletal machine effects, combined with the warmth and depth of detroit. As a counterpart to the entire minimalism, sweet melodies and chords collide with syncopated rhythms. Summertime streamlined their sound into something creative but not gratingly quirky as you would expect from a collaboration of Tobias Lorsbach (Keinzweiter, Superlauncher, Supralist...) and Max Wendling (Paradroid).

Tracklist:
1 Kaleidoscopic Flower Patterns 5:49
2 Square Colonial Decoding 5:20
3 Palatial Interiors 7:39
4 Jeep Wobble 5:07

Tobias Lorsbach is a digitalfunk / minimaltechno / microhouse / ambient producer based in mainz/germany. Head of SpontanMusik and creator of projects like keinzweiter, elco park, jabba 44 , antiga prime or superlauncher he released and remixed on labels like Klang, Overdrive, Force inc, Produkt, overX, 3D, Archipel, M_nus, Plex, Snork Enterprises, Memoryformat, Subtropical, Kreatur-Musik, Tonimusic, Kubism and finally spontanMusik.

With his new longplayer "Globus Cassus", Tobias Lorsbach connects to the mysterious world of retro futurism. influenced by authors like Stanislaw Lem and his philosophical excourses into the field of artificial intelligence, Keinzweiters music is a lush journey into the world of lost data and modular synthesis. reassembling the patterns of life in all its complexity is unattainable for mankind - "Globus Cassus" is a kind of aural statement to this uncertainty. With it´s outlandish deepness, the avoidance of simple hooklines it is more asking questions than giving answers, echoing the last 5 decades of electronic music and the existencial questions connected to the topic man vs machine.
