How would it be when we could substitute nature just by just cloning it?
Would it help to understand how precious and unique it is?
The doc questions with his track “Clonefixnature” where it all leads to:
From exploiting the earth over genetic engineering to the research on cloning and robotic technology.
With its strange rhythmic clicks, the dark bass-loop and the wavering and iridescent chords the track keep us in suspense thus producing a quite uncertain and desolate feeling about the future.
We give the track away for free from the 2nd to the 9th.

This is the UNOIKI summer track!
Keinzweiter serves uplifting, funky beats with mesmerizing chords letting you feel as if too much sun has turned you upside down, well, in combination with some fresh Mojitos probably.

Humeka - 0610 | Polar Dissim

Mastered By - Tobias Lorsbach Notes: Part of Unoiki's calendar series, available for free download from June 2 to 9.
@Humeka – the mysterious man from France – goes deep into experimentation.
Polar Dissim sounds as labile and disoriented as the world is fragile.
Deeply wounded by economic crises, wars, piracy, pollution, global warming, climate changes, over-population, overfishing and the latest oilspill in the Gulf of Mexico the track seems to seek for a way out of this labyrinth where we are in over one´s head.
In the last part the track accelerates turning into a hopeful mood, but with a big question mark at the end.

If Techno would have been invented in Tibet it would sound like this!
"chi one i kinyou" is more endless and darker than the universe, subtle and irritating with its shiftings, backward loops and delays and straight forward in the groove.
Finest mesmerizing and mental Techno.
choenyi at its very best!

Time is too slow for a desert life
My eyes reflect its surface very well
Do you hear the rain in my head
And the fields come alive
Not a trace of desire, faces in disguise
Do you taste the color of my skin
Here come the rising tide
Will you escape your life, lost inside your story
Ride the snake as our last chance to survive
Ride the snake as honey from the hive
We give away "The Snake" for free from the 7th to the 14th of april.
After that you can purchase it in our shop or wait until December, when we will put out the whole Calendar project on CD!

DJ Mix - choenyi
Notes: Total duration: 72:03 min.
Quick selection of 63 CC-licensed tracks from the Unoiki roster and subsequent dissection into discrete frequency bands reveals a cohesive sound palette and diverse opportunities for abstracted textures, meandering tangents and solid beats. The result is at once a DJ set and a frequency quilt of arranged re-compositions to include echoes of classic driving forms, contemplative drifts, and hints of yet-unexplored futuristic funk.

MRZ is a performance artist from Zurich, Switzerland, who brings back a lot of humour into electronic music.
“Wings” is a quite undescribable piece of music, so we don´t want to waste too many words about it: We just say “wobbly Krauthopedelica”!
Check out also his crazy performance videos like “algoritmo caliente” http://vimeo.com/2218692

Notes: Part of Unoiki's calendar series, available for free download during the first week of January.
The opening track of the UNOIKI Calendar 2010 is made by J-Lab, who moved exactly one year ago from London to Berlin.
It was a very cold, but also beautiful wintertime and he probably had that in mind, when he created his track “From the Hip”.
