Surely only a few words are necessary to introduce Christoph Schindling. In the past Christoph presented his characteristic style between IDM and dubtechno on a large amount of EP´s on labels such as „sulamuse, eintakt, cifm, deepindub, tropic, schall, kubism“.
Now he’s launched his next album following 2007. It is a very personal album shaped by many different situations in life and moods which arose from these situations in the past years.


His tracks are foregrounded by a tight fabric woven with wide atmospheric sounds, subtle beats and floating chords, somewhat more bizarre and abstract than we are accustomed to from Christoph. But that is exactly what makes this album exceptional: tracks that may begin a little rougher and refracted and gradually release their melancholy und lightness. By then we find ourselves in Christoph Schindling’s wonderful weightless cosmos of sound. Let yourself drift away…

„Twenty – the compilation“, our fourth collection, is is our 20th release and yet a kind of a jubilee edition. So we of dreiton.net are a little proud of it (and will fittingly celebrate that ...)

Many new artists as The Unknown Guys, Beketschus, Marxx Trukker, Rainer Mauch, Moho/Gathaspar, Ferrochrom, Belektron, Martin Tenschert and Der Idealist together with our „dreiton-veterans“ as Antonio Bruno, Christoph Schindling and others have created a little electronic sound universe of 13 wonderful tracks. Deliberately groping songs somewhere between dubtechno und ambient, which by and by unfold their complete sound spectrum to finally explode like a supernova. Impressing tracks that work on the dancefloor as well as in your living room!

With their first dreiton.net release Markus Rassiller and Dizzkant aka s:e:m:a prove that german poetry, influenced by the classic modern, and electronic music of the 21. century absolutely can undergo a perfect symbiosis.
s:e:m:a creates soundscapes cleverly moving between minimalism, deepness and a proper portion of melancholy. Soundcapes that capture and embrace the spoken word only to release it just in the right moment.

Remixes of Christoph Schindling und Frank Hellmond complete this wonderful EP. While Christoph prefers splendid wide flat sounds that smoothly spread over the lyrics, Frank Hellmond uses in his adaption only a few text fragments which he specifically sets in his melodic grooving tracks.
