[RTSW 24] Various - Extra Delivery

Various - Extra Delivery
Label: Russian Techno
Catalog#: RTSW24
Format: 5 x File, MP3, Compilation, 320 kbps
Country: Russia
Released: 22 Mar 2011
Genre: Electronic
Style: IDM, Downtempo, Breaks, Acid, Deep House

The new free compilation online! Five tracks from different artists, five moods, five states of consciousness. Each of them contain a piece of the author’s soul. The concept of the whole release is simple – to geather ‘experimental’ material that could not fit the borders of one specific genre. 1) Aveorm is a new artist on the label, he gave out this wonderful classic 90′s-sounding track filled with melodic warmness with acidic flavour. Just beautiful! 2) Vadz found this one in his archives – a deep melodic journey, from heart to heart. 3) Another newcomer, Antilogic from St. Petersburg showes his addiction to broken beats and simple melodies in this ‘happy’ track on the release. Right between electro and breaks. 4) Euphory Action is an alter ego of Digital Damage‘s DJ Krot. He kindly presented this intense and mellow piece for the compilation. Reminded me the golden years of IDM. Trippy! 5) Voai from Ukraine, yet another new name on RT, puts a bold dot in the end of our journey. Dark and dismal, this track is like a herald of the apocalypse. The reflection of the world’s disasters…
Watch out for the new artists with full releases on Russian Techno soon. Enjoy good music with us!

[RTSW 16] Tantcui Tantcui - Minimal Is Dead

Tantcui Tantcui - Minimal Is Dead
Label: Russian Techno
Catalog#: RTSW16
Format: 10 x File, MP3, VBR
Country: Russia

Speaking about the nature of modern minimal, through a cloud of tobacco smoke, a bad idea emerges - minimal turns into pop phenomenon, loses its face and becomes a soundtrack for TV-ads. Walking around the scrapyard of once a 'real' minimal, you often step on records of unknown artists and kick them, trying to get rid of the unpleasant residue, but...

Musicians around the world, counting money, adapt their music for the maximum number of listeners, and potential bar customers. But there are artists, adepts of post-minimal era, that work in their small flats, without the fear of tomorrow, that open their eyes to the inner contradictions of culture.

Pessimistic album 'Minimal is dead' by 'Tantcui Tantcui' project (which means Dance Dance in Russian), grabbing the elusive tail of the idea of minimal, shows us full spectrum of soundings, ranging from simple loops-based tracks to experimental noise stuff. This music embodies the idea of liberation, disengagement from the laws, in the style of ghetto punk... Boys and girls with japanned hair won't understand this, because we have our own, sick, concept of freedom... And we are proud of it, you suckers!

Format: 7 x File, MP3, VBR
Country: Russia
Released: 12 Apr 2010
Genre: Electronic
Style: Techno
Credits: Artwork By - Sub
Mastered By - Vadz

Sub is from the town Surgut which is situated in the middle of Russia and unofficially called 'oil capital of Russia'. It's a cold Siberian city, a place where native Khantia-Mansia ethnic group used to live, standing by the river Ob and surrounded by taiga. The climate is unfriendly there, and you can easily meet wolves in suburbs at night. Sub makes music since 2001, his first experience was drum'n'bass, and you can hear that by the fat basslines in his current production - excellent, massive but gentle rhythmic base is 50% of his success. Other half is the melodic draw-up. His music is filled with extra-terrestrial atmosphere, it has a lot of space within. It makes you dream of cold mysterious worlds with strange creatures and bizzare landscapes. It could be a perfect soundtrack for aurora borealis!

Sub's first appearance on Russian-Techno.Com was on 'Strategic Reserves' compilation, and now, his debut, full-lenght album is online! Welcome to Siberia, the land of many secrets!

[RTSW 13] Neonicle - Synthetic Voodoo Night

Neonicle - Synthetic Voodoo Night
Label: Russian Techno
Catalog#: RTSW13
Format: 13 x File, MP3, Album
Country: Russia
Released: 03 Mar 2010
Genre: Electronic
Style: Electro

Long-awaited debut album of Neonicle is finally out. It's our 13th release, we don't take any omens serious, but it looked like something was against this release from the very beginning. Well, actually, the flash drive with WAVs was accidentally lost, and then the originals of artwork dissapeared. Oh, never mind, we finally geathered everything, and the album is online now! Neonicle is the young guy from St. Petersburg. Some facts about the author - he was expelled from the musical school because of misbehaviour, he also worked in a Nuclear Physics Institute on a reactor site, he likes mushroom grog and he is a very amusing person.

The Album opens with 'I Dream' - gentle and psychedelic track that somehow tells you that this is going to be a special ride - an incredibly brilliant piece in 13 parts. All the tracks are different but you can feel the author's signature all the way the music goes on. His very own style is melodic, melancholic, mystic, simple and robotic. 100% synthetic voodoo ceremonial music. For dancefloor fillers check 'Keep It Open', '5th Element', 'Sonic Crystals', 'Springtime', 'Cosmic Lowrider'. For perfect DJ-tools pick 'Sonic Crystals', 'Alcoholic', 'Horror Shit'. For home listening or robot lounge entertainment use 'Overlove', 'Arabian Robots Like', 'HZ'... Well, this is actually the music where words are useless, you just have to feel it... Go, Neonicle, go!

P.S.: Do you remember the first appearance of Neonicle with the track 'Serenade Of Cemeteries' on our Cold Fire compilation? So, our next release, RTSW14 is going to be a collection of remixes on that track from foreign and native artists - ranging from old school acid techno to dubstep! Very soon on Russian-Techno.Com, never miss!

(RTSW 11) Vadz - Nuclear Volgodonsk

Vadz - Nuclear Volgodonsk
Label: Russian Techno
Catalog#: RTSW11
Format: 6 x File, MP3, VBR
Country: Russia
Released: 19 Dec 2009
Genre: Electronic
Style: Techno
Credits: Mastered By - Vadz

Once upon a time i was working on a radiostation and we had a task to record some speeches for Emergency Department. So, an actor from the local theater was invited and all the instructions were spoken over the microphone. One record was about what to do if an incident on the Volgodonsk Nuclear Power Plant (aka Rostov Atomic Power Plant) happens. The text was scary and actual (Volgodonsk is about 260 km from Taganrog) and, of course, i decided to use it. That's how the Nuclear Volgodonsk trilogy appeared. Firstly, there were only 3 tracks, 2 with no vocals and sounding almost the same (part 1 & 2) and the third one, totally different, with instructions. Plus, DJ Spell from Moscow made a mind-blowing dancefloor-friendly-acid remix (which was then taken by Diggarama netlabel as a part of Mystique EP) on one of them. I tried to release the whole EP, but labels i got connections with, at that moment showed no interest...

Time passed, i re-mastered all the tracks and added 2 more, similar in emotional sense, and decided to finally put everything together as an integral story. Listen to the warnings and be aware of the Power of Atom! Amen!

Tracklist:
1 Meltdown 5:10
2 Nuclear Volgodonsk Part 1 6:35
3 Nuclear Volgodonsk Part 2 5:55
4 Nuclear Volgodonsk Part 3 5:28
5 Nuclear Volgodonsk (DJ Spell Remix) 6:30

(RTSW 010) Various - Strategic Reserves

Various - Strategic Reserves
Label: Russian Techno
Catalog#: RTSW10
Format: 10 x File, MP3, VBR
Country: Russia
Released: 08 Nov 2009
Genre: Electronic
Style: Techno, Electro

This is our tenth release, a kind of a small anniversary one and a cause for rejoicing. 5 artists, 10 tracks. All of the techno is different here, and every track has a character. Here we go:

First two are from Naj, who was born in Kazakhstan but now lives in Germany. Classic, dancefloor friendly techno of "Ex-p" and an offbeat explosion of "Black Dress". Hit hard, never miss! Second pair comes from Rostov's Rubetz who brings sci-fi elements in "Resistance..." and a robotic trickery of "Razor". Check it, think it! Then we got 2 pieces from Vadz - serious pulsations of "Mechanoid" and simple but flammable beats of a "Crusher". Handle with care! Postapoclalyps Pop brings another two. "Electro stuff" is a tasty electro cut for a set start, recorded live, and a "Teely" is a bass-moving funky piece of cake. Play it loud! In the end we got a pair from Sub, our man from Surgut. Siberian coldness is heard in every beat of "Biolight", the vocals hypnotise you with "White sky, black dots..." mantra, and the "Alien" makes you dream of ethereal lifeforms. Don't be scared!

Netlabel celebrates it's "2 years online" holiday with this release. Think of us when you drink vodka next time. Enjoy proper Russian Techno style!

Catalog#: RTSW7
Format: 4 x File, MP3, VBR
Country: Russia
Released: 01 Oct 2009
Genre: Electronic
Style: Techno, Tech House

2000 Lights is an alias of Evgeny Light, well-known artist and DJ in the South of Russia. He usually prefers to play tech-house, minimal, and deep-techno stuff. Being a big expert in softer side of techno, his own production comes out very emotional and sincere. We're glad to present you this release full of beauty and depth. Tracks were produced during various periods of time, some of them were even lost (and then found, of course). Music is melodic, rhythms are tender, tracks build up slowly, and the whole groove makes you fly up in the warm clouds of calmness and placidity. This release is a good ambience for creative work, for sure. Or, if you're a DJ, you can use these ingredients wisely - just put one of them (or two or all) in your mix into right place and you will precisely get a vivid, full and finished story with a lot of colours, fancy shapes and shining forms to please any of you listeners. Enjoy 4 views of Absense by Evgeny Light!

Released: 16 Jul 2009

Acid Mikhalych is an acieeeed phreak from Moscow. 100% hardware addicted and 100% live recorded. He has already showed us his teeth on RTSW4, and now here's a mini-album for you.

5 excellent tracks, each one with it's own character. Our journey starts with some cliched but tasty sequences for start-up, then we come though massive one-o-one basslines with strong rhythm, a trippy hardcore experience with distorted perception is what we have next, followed by a scary 'acid halloween' track with tickling melody, and a perfect final chord in the end, mellow and clean. Acid for the masses, everyday acid! So, if you're an acid fan - be sure to play this release loud while having some smiley pills tonight, and if you're a DJ, obey now, and sacrifice your soul for the Gods of Acid!

(RTSW 4) Various - Cold Fire

Various - Cold Fire
Label: Russian Techno
Catalog#: RTSW4
Format: File, MP3, Wav
Country: Russia
Released: 06 Jun 2009
Genre: Electronic
Style: Electro, Acid
Credits: Mastered By - Vadz

"Cold Fire" is a collection of tracks that, for sure, will make you feel melancholic. Sometimes it could even throw you into the warm hands of sorrow, or make you think about something fundamental, like birth of the Sun, or nothingless and futility of a mankind... It's not a destructive fire, that tries to get outside and burn everything to ashes, it's the fire that warms souls of approaching apocalypse romantics from within. Gems only, grown with insight and made for listening in imperfect world.

1) Neonicle is a new name on RT, and his debut tunes you to the dark frequency of the whole compilation. This artist from St. Peterburg drops good electro in best traditions of famous holland's scene - emotional, mysterious, grim and full of inner energy. Have you ever seen ghosts? Hey! what was that?!

2) Tantcui Tantcui (which means "dance dance" in Russian) is a side project of a well known 8-bit artist 777minus111 from Moscow. A minimal deviation, as he says. "Where have you been? - Nowhere. What have you been doing? - Nothing". Wicked short track, with a strange melody in it. Should be served as a set opener at a heavy drugged minimal party. Hey, was that a sound of a knife? Did you hear that?!

3) Rabitza takes us into a subliminal journey again. This piece of art was recorded during one of their live performances and carefully mastered so you can feel the beauty of the moment. A mixture of something between electro and trance with warm melodies and acid mind programming makes you float on the wings of sound. Don't meditate too much, return soon!

4) Next one is an elegant track from Mass Fatality, a project from a grandfather of russian techno scene - DJ Slon from St. Petersburg. Soaring 808's and simple but touching melody keeps you in the mood all the way it goes. It feels like as if you were put in a small cozy space filled with a mixture of different images and feelings. Love, anger, tenderness... choose one!

5) Acid Mikhalych is a desperate hardware freak from Moscow and it's his first ever appearance on the scene. Having a wide collection of synths (legendary 303's, 707, 808, 909, etc.) and being strongly addicted to acid, he records tracks on the fly and performs live as well. "Load in progress" is a grim and scary track that programms your mind for a trip through your subconscious fears. Get ready for the dark adventure! The wind of doom blows in your direction!!!

6) Once upon a time there was a snowy and queerly silent morning on the outskirts of Taganrog. Vadz was on the way to his work, and suddenly, something began to play inside of his head. That's how this track was born. You can hear the flakes of snow scattering from above, you can smell the freshness and see the silent beauty of winter. Everything fades away, and only fancy images mosaic is what remains in the end.

Tracklisting:
1 Neonicle Serenade Of Cemeteries (6:06)
2 Tantcui Tantcui Where Have You Been? (2:30)
3 Rabitza Parallel Lines (Live) (5:50)
4 Mass Fatality Sadness, Fury, Spring (5:26)
5 Acid Mikhalych Load In Progress (6:41)
6 Vadz Snow (5:06)
