Zachary Gray's latest ' Montréal I/II' is dear to our hearts. We're fascinated by this album and by Gray's rapid understanding of our city. Living in Montreal only since July 2010, the album is ' the product of a tryst between dissolution and frustration ', he says on his website. Much like the city it takes its name after, Montréal I/II is an eclectic mixture of influences; often polarized between the warm & festive tones of summer to the deeper and more solitary moments of winter.
Camomille is proud to release such an album and to give to our listeners a little taste of home.
IDM sauce poutine / Electropatéchinois.

The last few days of summer have arrived and as a perfect bridge between the warm summer nights and the cozier autumn evenings, Maps & Transit offer us a beautiful album filled with sunlight and nostalgia.

On ' songs for divining ' Kyle Dawkins & Julie Phillips masterly concocted an evoking sense of travelling. From track to track, their american folk and experimental electronica bring us from the 50s south-american bayoos to simple, fragile polaroids of obscure forests.

Artwork, photography and music by Logreybeam
Mastered by Shawn Hatfield @ Audible Oddities

Our third release has been on the tip of our tongue for a while now. We're very excited, honered and flustered to present a longtime favorite artists of ours, Logreybeam's newly remastered rerelease of ' It's all just another aspect of mannerism ' put out by Type back in 2004. Since then, the album has been an exemplary study of experimental electronic music.

Much to the flavor of logreybeam's album and his time with Yasume, we also present you 9 remixes from artists just as influential to us : sense, proswell, proem, bot23, setzer, evac, podgrinder, ilkae and craque. While listening to these remixes might overwhelm us enough to shed a tear for the deceased m3rck imprint, the creeping, crackling, ticking tinkering of these tracks warm our hearts and our vocal chords scream ' IDM is not dead ! '.

Tracklisting:
1. premonition 03:07
2. aspect of mannerism 05:46
3. opiate of the masses 03:56
4. post'du mortem 03:16

7. preyWithMe 02:26
8. somnus:sleep 07:58
9. untitled 05:19
10. evac's false premonition 04:59

11. aspect of mannerism (setzer remix) 03:50

Yes, after closing down last year, we're back. We decided it was time to have fun again. Since we closed, the netlabel scene has changed a lot. The internet has changed a lot. Most of our favorite netlabels don't exist anymore. Everything has changed, for the better we think.

The thought of reopening occured to me in January 2010, after the haiti earthquake. As i stood helpless in front of my television screen, the way i envisioned to help was to make a compilation to raise awareness and funds for haiti. While that didnt turn out the way i wanted it to, i strongly and whole-heartedly advise you to go over to any of these fine establishements : Oxfam, Earthship, Google crisis response. If you think i'm missing some, please email me and i'll add them.

A slew of artists, new faces, old friends, have given their time to create these wonderful pieces for your enjoyment. Emanuele Errante, Makunouchi Bento, Casper, Evo Luthi, Shiftless, Maps & Transit, Ilkae, Muhr, Transient, Ian Hawgood, Nunu, Woodworkings, Hior Chronik & Logreybeam remind us all in their own way, hope's not lost.

1 the sea by hior chronik
2 sacred harp by maps and transit
3 summer tapes II by ian hawgood
4 the words we'll never know by casper
5 story six : rain falls on by woodworkings
