Solid Steel Radio Show 27/10/2017 Hour 1 - Helena Hauff

Solid Steel Radio Show 27/10/2017 Hour 1 - Helena Hauff

Solid Steel (27th October) In Hour 1 we welcome Helena Hauff, who releases her new EP "Have You Been There, Have You Seen It" today via Ninja Tune. Describing the mix, she told us "It’s a small selection of feel good electronic sounds from the heart of gentrified Hamburg” which means music from the likes of I-F, Hieroglyphica and Adapta. Highly respected for her energy, skill and unique selection, her profile has rocketed in the last two years as she has taken on a BBC Radio 1 Residency, delivered her debut BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, played a legendary B2B set with Ben UFO at Sonar 2017, graced the covers of Crack Magazine, DJ Mag and earned herself the #12 spot in Mixmag’s “Top 20 DJs of 2016”.

IS 250 – Versalife (aka Conforce) [Frustrated Funk, Transcendent, Delsin]

IS 250 – Versalife (aka Conforce) [Frustrated Funk, Transcendent, Delsin]

Boris Bunnik has been relentlessly producing music for the past 8 years. Having explored different possibilities and genres with his many projects, 2015 saw the Dutch artist releasing as Conforce Presentism. The album showed a diverse collection of sounds together creating tracks of finely crafted techno that have both an emotional and physical impact. But it is with his Versalife alias that the prolific artist has delivered the present set entitled Program or be Programmed made essentially of unreleased material.

Invite's Choice Podcast 106 - Milton Bradley

Invite's Choice Podcast 106 - Milton Bradley
http://www.miltonbradley.de

Milton Bradley is one of those artists you love to have on your show. Especially if he sends in a podcast recorded in Tokyo at Dommune.

I have a long-standing wish to visit and play in Japan someday. Something I am quite sure will happen in the future. But enough about me.

As owner of the Do Not Resist The Beat & Alien Rain labels, Milton releases great music. Dirty deep abstract and very usable techno. That is my experience when I play his music in my sets.

His podcast is an abstract and great mix that combines older and newer records; something not everybody can do well. To Milton it's not a problem however! Enjoy this podcast!(c) icp

Brassica - Cack Batalogue

Brassica - Cack Batalogue
A digital compendium of 12 inch vinyl releases from the past few years.

Brassica is music by UK producer Michael Anthony Wright. A lineage from Disco-Funk, experimental music, Progressive Rock, 70s & 80s synth music and the history of sound in cinema is evident, yet doesn't accurately describe his artistically individual and self-mentored sound!

Juno Plus Podcast 32 - The Exaltics

Juno Plus Podcast 32 - The Exaltics
http://www.the-exaltics.com
http://www.facebook.com/TheExaltics
http://www.junodownload.com/plus

Based in the humble city of Jena in central Germany, Robert Witschakowski started producing music in the late 90s and had his first official release in 2007. His most well known work has been under The Exaltics moniker, with the three part 1000 Lights In The Sky EP released in 2010 on legendary electro imprint Bunker Records.

This was followed in 2011 with They Arrive, a six-track EP for another Dutch electro institution, Crème Organization. The release continued the long love affair between techno and science fiction, and Juno Plus scribe Oli Warwick described The Exaltics sound as “moody, bleak, and bursting with atmosphere”. The bulk of his music, however, has been released on the diminutive Solar One Music label he runs with Nico Jagiella.

Robert described his Juno Plus Podcast as “more of a sound collage than a regular mix”. “I didn’t want to speed up or slow down the tracks, so I cut them all together with some fx, effects and synths,” he explains. “I like it this way; it’s like a movie soundtrack.” The mix contains an ample helping of unreleased heat from The Exaltics, alongside material from Ersatz Audio duo ADULT. and other obscure slices of grubby, utterly intoxicating electro.

Tracklist:
1. Ag Geige – Elektrische Banane (klangFarBe)
2. Global Surveyor feat. K1& Gab Gato – Global Surveyor (Crotaphytus Moloch Horridus Mix) (Dominance Electricity)
3. The Exaltics – My Language (Solar One Music)
4. Gosub – Plug In (Solar One Music)
5. Adult – Nausea (Ersatz Audio)
6. Simplicity Is Beauty – Operators Manual (The Exaltics Remix) (The Public Stand)
7. Adult – Lost Love (Ersatz Audio)
8. Adult – Pressure Suit (Ersatz Audio)
9. Global Surveyor feat. K1& Gab Gato – Global Surveyor (The Exaltics Journey Mix) (Dominance Electricity)
